The Final Constitution was voted in at the 2020 NZALU AGM. You can view the New Zealand Lacrosse (NZL) Constitution here.
The Constitution has been written with support from Sport New Zealand as well as a review of a number of different NZ code’s Constitutions including Hockey, Cricket, Swimming, Football and Rugby (both League and Union).
The Constitution has been written with a view that it will be a longstanding governing document and therefore has been built with the expectation of growth of the sport and sustainable governance.
The NZL Merger Working Group consulted with an independent lawyer from DLA Piper with a sports governance background in the process of writing the constitution.
