New Zealand Lacrosse is made up of a community of people of many talents!
As we work through the growth and development of lacrosse in New Zealand, we’d like to lean on the diverse talents, skills and backgrounds of those involved in the sport to contribute to the next phase of New Zealand Lacrosse’s journey.
You may have experience in your professional career with funding and sponsorship, establishing partnerships with key businesses, you may be involved (or have tamariki (children) or rangatahi (young person) involved) in other high performance sport and can offer advice and support in shaping our journey. You may have a passion for growing sport at the grassroots or be a teacher who can be involved in helping us get lacrosse to more schools. You might even have epic (or developing) skills in marketing, social media, communications, administration, event organisation or beyond…! Or you might be rangatahi interested in seeing the ins and outs of how sport works on a higher level.
No matter what your age, skills and experience, we want to hear from you!

A non-exhaustive list of skills and experience is in this form to help you consider if you can help – however if you’re interested, we’re sure there’s something you can do to help!
The level of time commitment and type of work you will be involved in will depend on what is going on and what you are available to do. This may range from a one off couple of hours to a couple of hours a month. Whatever time you can volunteer, let us know – we’d love to have a chat!
This work may be a mix of operational support as well as being involved in working groups for our 5 key strategic pillars:
1) Coaching
2) Officiating
3) High Performance
4) Funding and Partnerships
5) Grassroots Development
Your details will be saved as part of a database of volunteers, which will only be shared with the NZL Operations Manager and from time to time, the NZL Board. If at any time you would like to be removed from the database, this can be requested by emailing admin@nzlacrosse.nz.
