NZLA and NZWLA National Lacrosse Tournament 2011
The NZLA and the NZWLA have been holding their own national tournaments for the last few years. In 2011, both tournaments will be at the University of Waikato on 29-30 January.

COST: $25 per player ($60 for non-member women; $30 for non-member U19 women)
REGISTER: Bring registration form and fee on the day

The Waikato Lacrosse Club is pleased to announce that the New Zealand Lacrosse Association and the New Zealand Women’s Lacrosse Association are holding their National Lacrosse Tournaments at the University of Waikato Sporting Grounds on the Saturday and Sunday of Auckland Anniversary Weekend in January, 2011. All senior men and women lacrosse players are welcome to register as individuals or as part of a team.
Games will be shortened full-field games with standard rules. Fixtures (and game durations) to be announced on the day, when all registrations are in. All teams will provide support for other games (refs/umpires, scorekeepers, end line duties, etc.) as well as two balls per game. Teams are responsible for their own uniforms.
To register, complete the registration form (as a team or as an individual) and bring it along with a cheque or cash on the day. Cheques for the women’s tournament should be made out to the New Zealand Women’s Lacrosse Association and for the men’s tournament, the New Zealand Lacrosse Association.
Accommodation is available in single rooms with shared facilities at the University’s halls or residence on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening (28th, 29th, 30th January) for $50 per night and includes breakfast. The halls are a couple of minutes walk to the grounds. To guarantee a room on any or all evenings, the booking form and payment needs to be received by the end of Monday, 10 January. Late bookings will be considered but not guaranteed.
A BBQ at the grounds is planned for Saturday night and will incur a small cost.
